Inspired by the Past...Building for the Future

  Expanding the Downtown lifestyle of Aiken, SC, is important to life-long resident and builder Herschel "Buddy" Stevens.  Buddy attended USC-Aiken and received a degree in Business Administration after transferring to the University of South Carolina in Columbia.  Upon graduation he returned to Aiken and pursued a career in the banking and finance industry.  He achieved the position of Assistant Vice President at a local bank before beginning his career as a builder.

        Always fascinated by the building industry, Buddy began working with an Aiken builder in March of 1993 and was a vital part of building over 300 homes in the C.S.R.A.  In 2003, he founded Stevens Builders, LLC., and has since expanded his building area to include Lexington, Beaufort County, and the coastal barrier islands including Harbor Island and Fripp Island.  He enjoys all aspects of the building business including meeting with clients, helping to select floor plans and determining the best use of each lot.  Always open to using innovative building products, Buddy is also willing to help with overall exterior and interior choices.  His commitment to quality and detail is evident in the craftsmanship and design of his homes.  It is his continuous pleasure to be a part of making families dreams become a reality.
